Until recently, most guests making their holiday rental bookings and vacation rental reservations through on-line bookable booking platforms like Owners Direct, Home Away, VRBO, TripAdvisor and Holiday Lettings were under the impression that they were making their reservations securely direct with the owners of the properties, however things have now changed and corporate greed has taken a better hold of these companies which charge up to an additional 25% on top of the owner's 

 

 

 

The Spanish town of Alhaurin el Grande on the Costa del Sol, Spain is the perfect choice between a countryside holiday and a resort holiday, keeping you away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal life to enjoy a little more relaxed experience, yet close enough to not feel secluded.

The village of Alhaurin el Grande in Malaga Spain, is set in one of the most stunning and picturesque of mountain sceneries surrounded by stunning grand mountains.

The town centre is very striking and beautiful with roads and pedestrianised walkways which are very appealing. 

To the east of the mountains is the town of Torremolinos which is approximately 25 kilometres away. Heading towards the west of the mountains you will arrive at the coastal town of Fuengirola which is approximately 20 kilometres away and the coastal town of Benelmadena which is around 25 kilometres away.

Climate
Alhaurin enjoys the sub-tropical Mediterranean weather, which combines hot summers and warm winters. The town is split from the sea by the mountains means that temperature can soar in the summer months, but still remains comfortable for the most part. Temperatures are an average of 32 -34 ºC in summer months.

Beaches
The beaches at Torremolinos are approximately a 20-minute drive from our Vacation Rental Holiday Home.  Other close by beaches include the beaches of Fuengirola and Benalmadena which are a mere 25 minutes’ drive, and all offering the attractions and facilities of a seaside resort.
